Heartwood by Norm

Summer houses in harmony with nature

Heartwood and Norm Architects launch Heartwood by Norm – a series of three summer homes that unite Danish design, sustainability and innovative construction. The collaboration stems from a shared vision: to create aesthetic and timeless summer homes where architecture and nature merge.

Three designs, three landscapes
Inspired by Denmark’s coast, forests and villages, Norm Architects has created three summer house designs that balance function, materiality and the poetry of their surroundings. Featuring Heartwood’s sustainable building system and biogenic materials, these houses are designed to stand beautifully for generations – with a minimal carbon footprint.

The project will be launched in the spring of 2025.

Sustainability in focus

The three summer houses are designed with a focus on sustainability and quality, and they will be built using Heartwood's innovative building system, which makes it possible to achieve a significantly lower CO2 footprint. By using biogenic materials, optimizing resource consumption and integrating advanced technology, "Heartwood by Norm" is a concrete step towards a more sustainable future in Danish housing construction.
